Buckeye Nation lost a legend, and I lost a friend Friday when the one and only Earle Bruce passed away at the age of 87. I loved Earle. It was my pleasure and my honor to work side by side with him for more than 20 years. He was the lead analyst for the Best Buckeye Coverage on WTVN and I can tell you, there was never a dull moment. His passion for the Buckeyes was unmatched.
Former Ohio State quarterback Stan Jackson and I had a chance to reflect on Earle's impact Friday afternoon on Sports Radio 105.7, The Zone. We had a lot of help, including special visits with former Buckeye coach Jim Tressel and former Buckeye assistant and Minnesota head coach Glen Mason. Additionally, Clay Hall, sports director of our news partners at ABC-6, caught up with Urban Meyer. You can check out all of those conversations below. Rest in peace Earle. Buckeye Nation will never forget you.
