The Blue Jackets enter their Thursday night game against Minnesota with 30 points (14-8-2) and are second in the Metropolitan Division behind defending Stanley Cup Champion Washington. A key member of the Jackets is 25-year old defenseman Ryan Murray.
The former first round draft pick of the CBJ, Murray is in his sixth season and continues to play well. He's currently second on the team in assists and leads the Jackets with a +12 plus/minus.
He joined Dave Maetzold and me Wednesday on "The Drive" with Jackson and McCoy (Dave was filling in for Stan who was doing his Big Ten Network work in Chicago.) It was a fun and entertaining conversation with Ryan covering many topics like the Jackets play on the ice, Coach John Tortorella, the brilliance of Artemi Panarin and more. You can check it out here.
