The Basketball Buckeyes are head into the Big Ten Tournament playing for their NCAA Tournament lives. The same can be said of their opponent.
Ohio State (18-13, 8-12 Big Ten) faces Indiana (17-14, 8-12 Big Ten) at 12:30 pm Thursday afternoon in what could be a "winner take all" game in terms of making the NCAA Tournament field. According to ESPN projections, Ohio State is the last team in the field of 64 and Indiana, which has won four straight, is the first team out. The Buckeyes met the Hoosiers once this year, at Indiana, and won 55-52 on February 10.
On Tuesday, Coach Chris Holtmann, senior guard C.J. Jackson and forward Kyle Young met with the media to discuss the match-up. The good news for Ohio State is sophomore big man Kaleb Wesson, suspended for the last three games of the season--all losses by Ohio State--will return for the I.U. game. You can check out what the Buckeyes had to say about the game, Wesson's return and more below.
