Dwayne Haskins is officially a millionaire. The former Buckeye quarterback, who went No. 15 to Washington in last month's NFL Draft, signed a 4-year deal with the Redskins, believed to be worth $14.4 million with an $8 million signing bonus.
Haskins was the third quarterback taken in the draft, but was the first to sign his contract when the deal was inked Thursday afternoon. The top-pick by Arizona, former Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray, ended up finishing up his contract with the Cardinals late Thursday night. The No. 6 pick Daniel Jones out of Duke, the surprising selection of the Giants, remains unsigned. Haskins gets to work this weekend, as the Redskins host their rookie mini-camp. Among the other teams welcoming in rookies this weekend are the Bengals, who also feature an Ohio State newcomer, as offensive lineman Michael Jordan was selected by Cincinnati in fourth round.
