Just days after landing Julian Fleming, one of the nation's top receivers, Buckeye football coach Ryan Day has added one of the top kickers in the 2020 recruiting class. Jake Seibert, of Cincinnati LaSalle High School, announced on Twitter that he was committing to Ohio State.
Seibert had several major college offers, but picked Ohio State over UCLA and Michigan State. His strong leg is obvious when looking at his highlight videos where 50-60 yard kicks are routine. Of course, those are with no rush and no game pressure. Nonetheless, it's easy to see why Seibert is thought of so highly. He becomes the 10th player to commit to Day's 2020 class and we could see more commitments soon.
