A year ago the Browns were coming off an unprecedented record of futility--an 0-16 season and a 1-31 run over two years, but thanks to a promising 7-8-1 record in 2018, the dynamic arm of Baker Mayfield, and off season acquisitions, highlighted by wide-out Odell Beckham Jr., many Browns fans are thinking Super Bowl. The 2019 Browns, under first year head coach Freddie Kitchens, opened camp Thursday in Berea. There wasn't a seat to be had, as the open practice was packed with fans and media and there were glimpses of evidence that the optimism is not misplaced. Beckham wowed the crowd with a handful of spectacular grabs and Mayfield's accuracy was on display as well.
After practice, Kitchens, Mayfield and Beckham spoke to the media. You can check out their comments below, as well as a few highlights of the Thursday workout.
