Some graduates of the Ohio State receivers room, also known as "Zone 6," had special days in week two of the NFL. Indianapolis Colts rookie Parris Campbell caught his first career touchdown pass, Washington rookie Terry McLaurin scored for the second time in two weeks and Devin Smith of the Cowboys, scored his first NFL touchdown in 4 years. The TD's by the three former OSU receivers were part of another productive day for the Buckeyes in the NFL. Among the other highlights, Zeke Elliott scored again for Dallas, and then had a post-game jersey exchange with Washington rookie QB Dwayne Haskins, and though he didn't find the end zone, wide out Michael Thomas was productive again for the Saints, hauling in 10 passes in New Orleans 27-9 loss to the Rams. All but one of those catches by Thomas were thrown by Teddy Bridgewater and not veteran star Drew Brees. Brees was injured in the first quarter of the game, when his hand collided with LA defensive lineman Aaron Donald. Brees could not grip the football after that and will see a hand specialist today.
