There was big news in college sports this week when California passed the "Pay for Play" act. The new law, which will go into effect in 2023 will allow college athletes to profit over their name and likeness. Former Buckeye quarterback and WTVN analyst Stan Jackson is among those who welcome the change. Stan, in his weekly visit on the Joel Riley show, talked about why he believes the time for college athletes to be paid is long overdue. We also talked a little about the Buckeye match-up with Michigan State Saturday. Stan was in studio with Joel, moments before he joined me to record the latest edition of "Jackson and McCoy," our weekly podcast. You can check out Stan's visit with Joel below and if you missed it, the "Jackson and McCoy podcast" can be heard by clicking the link here.
