Ohio State looks to improve to 6-0 Saturday night at home against nemesis Michigan State. The Spartans have been Buckeye spoilers through the years, knocking off undefeated Ohio State teams in 1974, 1998, 2013 and 2015, preventing potential national championship seasons. Coach Mark Dantonio has been responsible for the last two upsets and will try to pull off a third as his Spartans are 20 point underdogs. For whatever reason, Dantonio, the defensive coordinator for Jim Tressel's 2002 national championship Buckeye team, has had more success than his Big Ten counterparts in figuring out a way to beat the Buckeyes. He's the only Big Ten coach to have two victories against Urban Meyer. He's also the only current Big Ten coach to win more than once in Ohio Stadium (2011 and 2015.) On Bucksline, I was joined by Best Buckeye Coverage analysts Stan Jackson, Bill Conley and Dave Maetzold and we talked about the Buckeye/Spartan match-up, the domination of the Buckeyes so far this year, the Ryan Day offense, the silver bullet defense, "pay for play" and much, much more. We had another huge crowd at the Buffalo Wild Wings on Bethel Road so thanks again to the incredible group of Buckeye fans and WTVN listeners who were on hand.
