Bosa Brothers Dominate

The Bosa brothers had quite a Sunday. For Nick, it helped his San Francisco 49ers improve to 6-0. For Joey, unfortunately, his LA Chargers lost in Tennessee and fell to a disappointing 2-5. The two former Buckeye defensive ends combined for nine tackles (5 for Nick, 4 for Joey) four assists (two each) three sacks (Joey 2, Nick 1) a forced fumble (Joey) and a celebratory belly flop (Nick) that went viral on social media. After sacking Washington QB Case Keenum to seal a 9-0 49ers win on a rainy afternoon in our nation's capital, Bosa celebrated like a kid on a slip and slide with a belly slide on the wet turf.

In addition to the monster Sunday for the Bosas, other Buckeyes shined again. In New Orleans 36-25 win over Chicago, Ohio State products continued to come up big for the Saints. Michael Thomas had 9 catches for 131 yards, Ted Ginn hauled in a 45 yard bomb that set up a Saints touchdown and safety Vonn Bell had 7 tackles, an assist, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The only downside was defensive back Eli Apple, who played well with 6 tackles, suffered a knee injury late in the game. He'll be re-evaluated Monday.

In Sunday night football, Dallas beat Philadelphia 37-10 led by Ezekiel Elliott. The former Buckeye star had 22 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown. He also had 6 receptions for 36 yards. An 14-yard Elliott run in the first quarter included a Buckeye on Buckeye crime. Elliott victimized Ohio State product Malcolm Jenkins, lowering his shoulder to plow through a Jenkins tackle. It set up Zeke's 1-yard touchdown run. You can check out NFL Buckeye highlights from Sunday below.
