Wisconsin Tries To Bounce Back Against The 3rd Ranked Buckeyes

The much anticipated Wisconsin/Ohio State showdown is Saturday, but it lost some of its luster after the Badgers were stunned last weekend, losing to 30-point underdog Illinois 24-23. The loss sent Wisconsin tumbling from No. 6 in the polls down to No. 13. Despite the setback, Saturday's game in Ohio Stadium will be Ohio State's toughest test to date. The Wisconsin defense is ranked No. 1 nationally in scoring (7.6 points allowed per game) and in total defense (193.9 yards/game.) The Buckeyes are second in both of those categories.

Matt LePay, long time play-by-play man for Badger football and basketball, joined Joel Riley and me Monday on WTVN, and talked about the Badgers stunning loss to Illinois, their mind-set coming into this showdown in Columbus, Heisman Trophy candidate running back Jonathan Taylor and more. It was a good conversation with Matt, who is now a Badger--but is also a Buckeye, having graduated from The Ohio State University. You can check out the interview here.
