It's been a busy news cycle for the football Buckeyes. Not only are they in the headlines with their 9-0 record and now, No. 2 rank in the College Football Playoff poll, but also the Chase Young situation. The Buckeye defensive end, sidelined by Ohio State before the Maryland game because of an improper loan accepted last year, accepted a 2-game NCAA suspension. Young will miss Saturday's Rutgers game but will return in time for Penn State, Michigan and beyond. The news came down after Best Buckeye Coverage analyst Stan Jackson joined Joel Riley in studio Wednesday and before we recorded this week's Jackson and McCoy podcast. Nonetheless, Stan's take on the matter---and on the NCAA rule Young violated---are very timely. In fact, the two topics that will get Stan fired up are NCAA rules and the College Football Playoff committee. We tackled both of them with Joel and on the podcast. If you've listened to Stan, it's probably not a spoiler to tell you he was not happy that the Buckeyes were demoted to No. 2 behind LSU. He reacted to the CFP rankings, Chase Young and more on his weekly visit with Joel below and did so more extensively during "Jackson and McCoy," which you can check out on our podcast page by clicking here.
