From the moment the 2019 Ohio State football schedule came out, Buckeye Nation has kept their eyeballs on the final two games: Penn State at home and at Michigan. We've finally made it there. No. 2 Ohio State, 10-0 on the season, faces 9-1 and No. 8 Penn State at noon Saturday in the final home game for 26 Buckeye seniors. An Ohio State win would clinch a third consecutive trip to the Big Ten Championship Game. A loss would be devastating to this Buckeye team that has been a machine this year, winning every game by at least 24 points. Should Penn State pull off the upset, it would seem unlikely that the Buckeyes would get into the college football playoff because the Nittany Lions would almost certainly win the Big Ten East. All they would need to clinch a spot in the Big 10 title game would be to beat Rutgers in the regular season finale. That's why the stakes are so high Saturday. On Tuesday, Best Buckeye Coverage analyst and former Ohio State assistant Bill Conley talked with Joel Riley and me on WTVN about the showdown with Penn State, the keys to the game, the return of Chase Young and more.
