The Basketball Buckeye loss to Minnesota Thursday night did at least have one nice highlight. At halftime, the Big Ten Champion Ohio State football team was recognized. Coach Ryan Day and about 50 members of the 13-1 2019 Buckeyes were on hand. Day briefly addressed the crowd, thanking Buckeye Nation for its support this past season and also touching on the Buckeyes motivation for next year.
"That game out (in Arizona) didn't sit well with us," Day told the crowd, referring to the Buckeyes season ending 29-23 loss to Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl. "You have my word, we're not going to forget about that game...We're going to do everything we can to keep that game in the back of our minds so next year we come back even stronger."
Day spoke for about two minutes. I posted the highlights of his address in three parts on Twitter. If you missed it, you can check it out here.
