Buckeyes Back In Top 25

Last week was good to the Basketball Buckeyes. Home wins over Rutgers and Purdue leveled Ohio State's Big Ten record to 7-7 and propelled the Buckeyes back into the Associated Press poll, checking in at No. 25. It might be a challenge for Ohio State to stay in the rankings, as they play two very difficult games, Thursday at No. 20 Iowa (7 PM, ESPN) and Sunday vs. Big Ten leading and No. 7 Maryland (4 PM, CBS.)

"If they can split and (get) one win, whether it's a home win over a top 10 team like Maryland or a road win against a top 25 team like Iowa...that to me is a successful week in this conference," 610 WTVN basketball analyst and former Ohio State captain Tony White said on Bucksline Monday night. Tony and I were joined in studio by 610 WTVN contributor and long time Buckeye Basketball writer Jeff Rapp. Our wide ranging Buckeye hoops discussion included the play of Luther Muhammed and Kyle Young, Kaleb Wesson's 3-point shooting, the strength of the Big Ten, the best teams in college basketball, the Dayton Flyers and more.
