Struggling Blue Jackets Look For Answers

In the span of 12 days the Blue Jackets have gone from the hottest team in the NHL, to the coldest. The CBJ, lost their sixth straight Tuesday night, falling 5-1 in Philadelphia, falling behind both the Flyers and Carolina in the standings and falling out of playoff position in the Eastern Conference. The good news is they're only a point behind and with 21 games remaining, there's plenty of time. The bad news is, Seth Jones likely won't be back for any of those 21 games. The Jackets, who have overcome multiple injuries all season, have not figured out a way to win since Jones suffered a fractured ankle Feb. 8. The all-star defenseman is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. If they Jackets were able to find their way in, Jones potentially could be back for the post-season.

On the Joel Riley show Tuesday morning, before the Jackets latest lost, we visited with Aaron Portzline of The Athletic, and discussed the effect of the Jones injury, potential moves the Jackets could make prior to the trade deadline, John Tortorella's influence on the team and more. Great stuff, as usual with Aaron. If you missed it, you can check it out on Joel's podcast page by clicking here.

As for the Jackets loss to Philly, below are postgame interviews from captain Nick Foligno and coach John Tortorella.
