Buckeyes Continue To Stock Pile Talent

Even a pandemic can't slow down Ohio State's 2021 recruiting class. Since on field sports came to a halt more than two weeks ago, Ryan Day and the Buckeye staff has been impressively stock piling talent. The latest edition to the class currently ranked No. 1 nationally by both 24/7 sports and ESPN is 5-star running back TreVeyon Henderson, who made his commitment to Ohio State over the weekend.

At 5'11, 195, Henderson is an explosive and powerful back out of Hopewell, Virginia. He is rated as the No. 2 running back nationally in the 2021 class and the No. 17 prospect at any position overall. According to 24/7 sports, his the 2nd highest rated commitment in Ryan Day's outstanding class, behind only Pickerington North Defensive end Jack Sawyer. He is also the second blue-chip running back the Buckeyes have landed in the last two weeks--Evan Pryor of Charlotte, North Carolina is the other---and the third if you include Oklahoma grad transfer Trey Sermon who will join Ohio State next season. Henderson is the 15th commitment in the 2021 class. Ten of the 15 are ranked among the top 100 prospects nationally according to 24/7 sports. No other Big Ten team has more than two such players. In the highlight video below you can see why Henderson is rated so highly. His elusiveness, power and explosiveness are impressive. Check it out below.
