Craft Calls It A Career

The dream finish for Ohio State basketball product Aaron Craft wasn't to be. Craft, the hard-nosed, hustling guard who became a favorite of Buckeye Nation, is trading a basketball for a stethoscope as he retires from basketball to go to medical school. Craft had hoped his final game would result in another TBT championship. That dream ended abruptly as Carmen's Crew, the defending TBT champs, were ousted 76-68 Wednesday by House of Paign, a team made up mostly of University of Illinois products.

"For me personally, it is sad and it is tough," Craft said after the game. "Obviously most people don't go out the way they want to but I got an opportunity to play again with these guys and hang out for five days at the hotel and TBT gave me that opportunity and I'm thankful for that but it's tough."

Craft's final game included some of the typical hustle plays and pesky defense that has been his calling card.

Those are the kind of plays that made him a favorite of his Buckeye coach, Thad Matta, and the guy that opposing teams loved to hate. As the curtain closes on Aaron Craft's basketball career, here's a couple more of his more famous moments at Ohio State.
