High School Football, Fall Sports, Given The Green Light

Many athletes, administrators and parents breathed a sigh of relief Tuesday when Governor Mike DeWine announced that high school sports in Ohio will be allowed to proceed this fall. COVID-19 safety measures must remain in place and seating will be limited, but at least the athletes will be on the field. Tim Stried, Director of Communications for the Ohio High School Athletic Association joined me on Wednesday morning, reacting to the news. The OHSAA has worked closely with Governor DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted over the past several months, so the news was also a relief to them. Tim talked about what fall sports will look like, the expanded high school playoffs and more. Thanks to Tim for joining us and giving us great information. You can listen to the conversation by clicking here to go to our podcast page.
