A unique treat for you and the kids from Rita

Who doesn’t love Unicorns? My granddaughters are unicorn fans so they will love making this bark. I hope everyone enjoys making this as much as we do!

****Tip from Rita’s kitchen: Melting White Chocolate

Be careful when melting white chocolate - do it over very low in a nonstick pan or double boiler.

Pull chocolate off the heat before all the chips are melted - a few chips should remain - then stir to melt the remaining chips. This assures your white chocolate won’t burn.

UNICORN BARK

Ingredients

5 cups white chocolate chips, bark, or candy melts, melted

4 different colors of food coloring - my kids like pin, blue, purple and yellow

Sprinkles, etc.

Instructions

Divide melted chocolate among four bowls. Add a different color food coloring to each bowl and stir until combined.

Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper (to make parchment paper stick to the pan, dollop a tiny bit of melted chips on the four corners of the baking sheet and put the parchment on top), and drop spoonfuls of each color chocolate in a collage-like pattern, working out from middle of baking sheet.

Using an offset spatula, mix colors together to make a swirling pattern (be careful not to overmix) and fill tray.

Top all over with sprinkles and tiny candies.

Refrigerate 1 hour, then break bark into pieces before serving.
