President Trump threw cold-water on the recently passed omnibus spending bill making its way towards his desk Friday morning; suggesting he may veto the legislation over its failures to both fund his promised border wall and find a permanent solution for the nation’s ‘Dreamers.’
The Commander-in-Chief posted his threat on social media just hours after the bill cleared Congress, blasting Congressional Democrats for “totally abandoning” the nation’s 800,000 DACA-recipients.
“I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded,” Trump tweeted.

The President was reportedly pleased with many aspects of the bill -particularly the increased funding for the military- but has repeatedly threatened to sink any proposal that doesn’t adequately fund his signature campaign promise: a physical wall along the nation’s southern border with Mexico.
