COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- A judge will hear arguments Tuesday on whether to allow a man to withdraw his guilty plea to a charge of harassing the Delaware County sheriff.
The alleged harassment began in 1999, when Russell Martin, now the Delaware County Sheriff, was a deputy.
William Young of Columbus, pleaded guilty earlier this year to cyberstalking, but now wants a trial.
Young says he was surprised to learn he was facing up to five years in prison, even after pleading guilty.
The government says Young waited too long to withdraw the plea.
