COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Columbus police are looking for those responsible for a number of cases of dangerous objects being dropped from bridges onto moving traffic.
The most recent case was Monday, when railroad spikes dropped from a bridge shattered a moving car’s windshield near North Central Avenue.
Authorities say another vehicle was hit by a large rock in a similar manner on Georgesville Road near I-270.
According to Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien, persons caught dropping objects onto moving traffic can be charged with attempted murder.
