WHITEHALL, Ohio (WTVN) -- One person is in critical condition after being shot during a home invasion early Wednesday in Whitehall.
According to police, 29-year old Taveon Fadis of Columbus broke into a house on Beechcreek Road just after 2:30 a.m. and was shot by his ex-girlfriend, who lives there.
Fadis was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
Police say his ex-girlfriend, who was home alone at the time, wasn't hurt.
Whitehall police say this isn't the first time Fadis has gone there. They say he has outstanding burglary and domestic violence warrants. Now, police say, he faces new charges of aggravated burglary and domestic violence.
