Brandt Snedeker shot an 11-under 59 yesterday (August 16th) in the opening round of the Wyndham Championship in North Carolina, one shot short of matching the PGA Tour record of 58, set by Jim Furyk in the Travelers Championship two years ago. Still, with his round of 59, Snedeker became just the 10th player in Tour history to break 60.
