COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police are investigating the discovery of a body along I-70 eastbound near the west-side split Tuesday morning.
Homicide investigators are looking into the incident, with the first calls coming in around 7:30AM about a body on the left side of the roadway.
It was found on 70 East at Mound Street, near the old Cooper Stadium site.
Officers closed down 70 East, from I-670 all the way to State Route 315 at the west-side split.
The ramps to 70 East from Sullivant Avenue and Broad Street were also closed.
The police Accident Investigation Unit also responded.
