Former Michigan safety and Columbus' own Marcus Ray has a theory. The Big Ten Network analyst believes there is a national bias against the Big Ten and the Pac 12 that dates back to the old bowl coalition formed in the early 1990's. Ray, who works on BTN with Stan Jackson, my co-host on 105.7, The Zone, joined us Thursday to explain why he thinks Ohio State and the entire Big Ten are not given the proper respect.
In addition to outlining his "anti Big Ten" hypothesis, Ray also weighed in on the retirement of Urban Meyer. You might expect a Michigan man to react with joy that Meyer, 7-0 in The Game, was stepping away. Ray's reaction was quite the contrary. It was an interesting and fun conversation all the way around with Marcus. If you missed it, you can check it out here.
