COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--Buckeyes junior defensive lineman Dre'Mont Jones is saying he will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft after the Rose Bowl game on New Year's Day.
Currently expected to play in the bowl game, Jones could still opt to sit out in order to avoid potential injury.
Most early mock NFL draft boards have Jones being selected somewhere in the middle to late half of the first round.
Jones had a stellar year for the Buckeyes in 2018, recording 40 tackles, including 13 for loss, with eight and a half sacks, three fumble recoveries, an interception, and two touchdowns.
