COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--Adult entertainer Stormy Daniels is suing the Columbus Division of Police over her arrest last year at a strip club where she was performing.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, filed the lawsuit Monday in federal court saying her arrest was politically motivated.
Columbus Vice officers took her into custody last July after a performance at Sirens for charges that were later dropped by the city attorney. CPD originally claimed Daniels violated a state law, saying adult entertainers are not allowed to touch patrons.
Clifford is asking for more than two million dollars in damages. Two other workers at Sirens were also arrested that same night. They also had their charges dropped.
