BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (WTVN)--A judge in Logan County has ruled that part of an accused killer's confessions, which came during an intense interrogation, can not be used as evidence in her upcoming trial.
Brittany Pilkington is charged in the murders of her three young sons, dating back to 2014. Her lawyers argued that police denied her food, water, and bathroom breaks during her nine-hour interrogation, where she confessed to the crimes.
Police say Pilkington was offered the amenities, but, refused them.A judge had previously allowed the recorded interrogation to be submitted as evidence.
Pilkington is set to go to trial for the three murders next month.
