COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A massage parlor on Columbus's far-west side has been shut down, over an investigation into human trafficking and prostitution.
City Attorney Zach Klein secured a court order for the operation against the Sunflower Asian Spa, in the Westpointe Shopping Center, on Wednesday. The business is at the corner of Renner and Hilliard-Rome Roads.
Klein says patrons paid 60-dollars for an hour-long massage, then offered sex acts by workers for an additional 40-dollars, in a back room of the business.
Investigators had been looking into the activity at the business since September.
The move to shut down the business was the result of a temporary restraining order, with a hearing on a permanent injunction set for next week.
