SHELBY, Ohio (WTVN)--The National Weather Service in Cleveland confirmed an EF-2 tornado touched down in Shelby, in Richland County Sunday.
The twister had winds of between 120 and 125 miles an hour, touched down for 17 miles, and left a path of destruction a half-mile wide.
Officials say six people suffered from minor injuries.
It hit Sunday just before 5PM.
Weather spotters also confirmed an EF-0 tornado hit Clark County on Sunday, with no major damage reported there.
