COLUMBUS, Ohio (24-7 News)--The FBI's Public Corruption Task Force conducted what they are calling court-authorized law enforcement activity at apartment complexes owned by former Columbus vice officer Andrew Mitchell.
Witnesses say they saw FBI agents hauling black bags full of evidence from several units for several hours Tuesday at the complex on Denune Avenue.
Mitchell is under federal indictment over allegations he used his position as a police officer to force women into sex in exchange for avoiding arrest.
The head of the FBI's Central Ohio office said the evidence collected would be presented on Thursday to a new grand jury considering additional charges against Mitchell.
