Saturday Night Live skipped politics and went straight for pop culture in its cold open Saturday Night. The NBC institution opened with a Family Feud sketch featuring characters from Avengers: Endgame doing battle with characters from Game of Thrones. On the Avengers' side, they had the mighty Thor (Alex Moffat), the jacked Thanos (Beck Bennett), the powerful Okoye (Ego Nwodim) and Groot (Leslie Jones). Over on the Game of Thrones side, they brought together Brienne (Kate McKinnon), Tormund (Mikey Day), Melisandre (Cecily Strong) and Bran (Kyle Mooney).
