Word this morning is that the Emmy's (which take place in about 6 weeks) will be hostless this year. The Academy Awards went hostless last year and the ratings inched up, so apparently now other shows are going to follow suit. Not sure it'll make me watch, but I promise if there was more of this kind of behavior, I'd think about it.
