COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A Franklin County grand jury has returned an indictment against a suspect, accused of robbing and raping a woman near the OSU campus, just before the start of classes for the fall semester.
20-year-old Darrell Rodgers is facing five counts of rape, one count of kidnapping, and one count of robbery in connection to the incident on August 17th.
Prosecutors say Rodgers stopped the victim near the intersection of High Street and 9th Avenue, robbed the her of all her belongings, and ordered the victim to perform sex acts at gunpoint.
The victim called police, and Rodgers was positively identified as the suspect not far from the crime scene.
His arraignment is set for Wednesday.
