WESTERVILLE, Ohio (WTVN)--Police are investigating the robbery of a gun shop in Westerville, with the suspects using a stolen SUV to break through the front door of the business.
Police say the alarms went off at the Velocity Gun Works just before 6AM Monday morning, with surveillance video showing the suspects ramming through the front door, and taking numerous firearms.
A witness told police they saw the suspects load the stolen weapons into a smaller white vehicle, possible a Chevrolet Cruze or Cavalier, before taking off in that vehicle, and abandoning the stolen vehicle.
Investigators have not revealed how many weapons were taken from the store in the robbery. They are now reviewing surveillance video in an effort to identify the suspects.
