18 Animals Seized From Grandview Heights Home

GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Humane agents seized over a dozen animals from a home in Grandview Heights Tuesday, acting on tips that the animals were sick and being kept in unsanitary conditions.

Along with the animals seized at the home along Mulford Avenue, many more empty crates were taken from the property. ten cats, two dogs, two rabbits, and four deceased guinea pigs were seized.

The owner of the home, and the one who claims to be taking care of the animals, tells ABC-6 that he runs a trap, neuter, release program for cats from the property.

He claims he is reducing the number of animals he is taking care of. An initial court hearing is set for next week, and he says he will fight to get the animals back.
