COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--Columbus Police have a new answer to the age-old question, "Why did the chicken Cross the Road?"
Officer Brad White was dispatched to the are of I-270 and I-70 on the west side Monday evening, on reports of a woman in the median.
It turns out the woman was trying to wrangle a wayward chicken. The incident was caught on ODOT cameras.
The woman, chicken, and the officer are all doing fine now. The woman, a student at the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine, helped rescue the chicken.
