MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTVN)--A teenager died as a result of a crash in Madison Township Sunday evening.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Matthew Swint of Pickerington was heading north on State Route 317, near Rohr Road, just before 8PM, when for an unknown reason, the vehicle went left of center and struck an oncoming southbound pickup truck.
Swint was taken to Grant Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.
The other driver suffered minor injuries. Investigators still do not know whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. Swint was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
