LOGAN, Ohio (WTVN)--A man abducted his estranged wife, and led Sheriff's deputies on a chase in Hocking County Monday, before killing his wife, and then himself.
According to the Hocking County Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Natalie Nutter of Logan was abducted by her estranged husband, 34-year-old Kevin Nutter, from her residence Monday morning.
When deputies located the suspect vehicle, Kevin led officers on a chase. Once that ended, Kevin shot Natalie, and then turned the gun on himself.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The couple's small child was unharmed in the incident, and is in the care of relatives.
Court records indicate Natalie had filed for divorce from Kevin last month.
