NYC needs ventilators

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said on Sunday that the "bottom line" is that New York Gov. Cuomo has to get the ventilators necessary to treat residents.

Fauci stated on CNN's "State of the Union"that "One way or another, he needs the ventilators that he needs and hopefully we will get him the ventilators that he needs. They may be closer to him that is realized but if they're not, we'll get them there. And if they are we'll try to get him access to the ones that are there."

The number of cases in New York tops 53,399 as of late Sunday afternoon and continues to rise rapidly.
