COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The 2020 Memorial Tournament has been rescheduled for July 13th through the 19th, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The PGA Tour released it's updated schedule for 2020 on Thursday. Traditionally, the tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin is held shortly after Memorial Day.
For now, the plan is to still allow patrons to attend the tournament when it is held. Organizers do acknowledge that based on best practices from the state of Ohio regarding COVID-19, that may change, and the tournament may need to be held without patrons.
The tournament does plan to issue refunds to all patrons if that ever happens.
The PGA Tour schedule is set to resume in June, with no patrons allowed at the first few events.
