COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--The state of Ohio is launching an effort to offer all college students in the state a coronavirus vaccine.
Governor Mike DeWine says the state will set up clinics on college campuses across Ohio, with the goal of offering all students a vaccine by May 1st, which is when most schools let out for the summer.
He says the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be used for this effort.
As for additional vaccines coming in, DeWine says state officials will now make decision on where those are distributed based on where they are needed most.
DeWine added that beginning the week of April 12th, vaccine providers can use up to 25% of their allotment for their own employees, or begin holding private vaccination clinics for employers.
