COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN)--A tanker truck crashed and caught fire Monday morning along the interchange at I-270 and US-33 in Dublin.
The incident sent thick black smoke into the air, and led to major closure along I-270, which was shut down at Route 315 westbound on the north side, and northbound on the west side at I-70.
US 33 eastbound was also shut down at Route 161 as a result.
There were no injuries reported, but numerous fire departments responded to douse the flames. Dublin Police confirmed to ABC-6 that one person died in the crash.
ODOT says they have to inspect the bridge before they can determine when the roads will re-open in the area.
ODOT also temporarily re-opened State Route 315 at Route 750 in Delaware County as a result. That road was scheduled to close for three months, beginning Monday.
