Did the lights just go out?
AEP-Ohio is taking the wraps off its new outage map, one that gives customers close to real-time information about power outages.
The new app allows customers to search for an address and get outage details, including estimated time of restoration, number of customers affected by the outage, and what caused the outage, if it's known.
The outage map is updated every 15 minutes.
