New Buckeyes Jump On Board On National Signing Day

It's Christmas Day for college football coaches. It's National Signing Day for football recruits. Urban Meyer and the Buckeye coaching staff have again put together one of the nation's  best classes. Experts rank this Ohio State class neck-and-neck with Alabama for the best in the country.  Going into signing day, there were 20 players in the Buckeye class--nine of them are already enrolled at OSU. The Buckeyes added one, nabbing a signing day decision from offensive lineman Thayer Munford of Massillon. They are still awaiting a decision from defensive tackle Marvin Wilson out of Texas. We are tracking the new Buckeyes, as signing day progresses and will add them to the list, as their faxes arrive. The list is below.

Meyer on BTN

Urban Meyer talked up this Buckeye class Wednesday morning on the Big Ten Network.

"You're not allowed to have favorite recruiting classes because that's politically incorrect however, so far, I think this is going to be a special one," Meyer told BTN, admitting that he has been paying attention to the recruiting rankings which have the Buckeyes at or near the top nationally. "If they're keeping score, we'd like to win that thing and I do look at that. The recruiting services, while they're not 100 percent correct, they're very close."

You can check out Meyer's comments on the class  below.

Here's a look at who the recruiting experts believe are the top prospects in this blue chip Ohio State class.
