What A Shot...What A Game

Usually, February NBA games are kind of 'ho-hum.' Not Monday night in Washington. In a playoff-like atmosphere, the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers snapped the Washington Wizards 17-game home court win streak, with a wild 140-135 overtime victory. The game featured the above incredible shot by LeBron James that is sure to end up on James career highlight reel. Trailing by 3 with 3.4 seconds left, James caught Kevin Love's length of the court inbounds pass--retreated to 3-point territory and with Washington's Bradley Beal right in his face, banked in a fade-away 3 to force OT.  An amazing play...but it was one of many in what was a terrific NBA game. Kyrie Irving, who had struggled all night--scored 11 overtime points--after James had fouled out--to lift the Cavs to the win. Irving's 3-pointer with under a minute left, gave the Cavs the lead for good. If you missed it, check out the highlights of Irving's shot and complete game highlights below.

Love Rumors Debunked

As the Cavs and Wizards played this epic game, a report in the New York Post circulated saying that LeBron James was urging Cavs management to trade Kevin Love for Knicks forward Carmello Anthony. Love--an all-star this year--scored 39 points with 12 rebounds and delivered the pass that made James remarkable 3-pointer possible. After the game, James angrily shot down the report calling it "trash." Check out LeBron and coach Ty Lue react to the trade rumor below
