Standing room only for talk about German Village crime

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Resident of Columbus's German Village are on edge after several recent attacks in the neighborhood--the most recent occurring Monday night.

Columbus police officers were there to talk about the attacks and how to help find the suspects.

In all, four women have been attacked in the past two weeks.

Police say they have increased patrols in the area, but say residents can help, too, by reporting anything that appears to be out of the ordinary.

Not far away, employees at Nationwide Children's Hospital are on alert after an armed robbery near the campus.

The hospital says the employee was held up Tuesday morning on South 18th Street.

The suspect is believed to be the same person involved in another nearby robbery last month.
