As Buckeyes Grind, Spring Game Details Are Set

The Football Buckeyes are grinding and fans got a glimpse of it on social media. Ohio State Football's official Twitter account posted a pair of short videos Thursday, showing the Buckeyes go through a grueling winter conditioning workout under the watchful eyes of coach Urban Meyer and strength guru Mickey Marotti. When we have had the opportunity to talk with Buckeye players about conditioning, they tell us the hardest of the hard are mat drills. The videos features some of what the Buckeyes endure to be in top condition during the season. It doesn't look pleasant. Check it out here.

Spring Game Details Announced

As the Buckeyes go through the winter grind, they are keeping an eye on the calendar. Spring practice begins in less than a month--on Tuesday March 7--and end with the annual Spring Game on Saturday April 15.

On Thursday, Ohio State released details on the Spring game. It will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. this year and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m Friday. Tickets can be purchased in person at the OSU Athletics Ticket Office, or by calling 1-800-GOBUCKS. General admission tickets are once again $5 and there are a limited number of reserved club seats that cost $15. This year, Ohio State also has group tickets--at $4 each--for groups of 50 or more. Children under 6 are free in general admission seats only.

Last year's spring game set a national record with a crowd of more than 100,000.
